Fortified settlement with a handsome 18th-century church, restored tower and oil press- museum entrance – 15 minutes walk from Kardamyli.
Ø AGIA SOFIA
Kardamyli, Mani stone path from Old Kardamyli to Agia Sofia, scenic walk, about 45 min one way
Ø KATAFIGIO – Cave & Rocks
o 500 metres outside of Agios Dimitrios on the road to Trachila
o Step path down towards sea, good shoes suggested, not for young children or elderly people or handicapped
o Big flat rocks leading into the sea
o Cave in the back – if you want to enter, make sure you have cave excursion equipment
o Not recommended when the sea is not calm
o Recommended times: early mornings until early afternoons
